Abstract

This fieldwork report documents a journey by the Bantenologi team to megalithic sites in Southern Banten from January 17-20, 2013. The team explored various historical and cultural sites, starting with a visit to the Ciberang River, known for its rafting activities, and continuing to megalithic sites such as Lebak Kosala and Lebak Cibedug. The visits were undertaken to document and preserve the cultural legacy of Banten. The report details the team's experiences, including navigating challenging terrains, interacting with local communities, and discovering the historical significance of the sites visited. The fieldwork emphasized the importance of these sites as part of the cultural heritage of Banten, providing insights into ancient Bantenese civilization and its practices.
